Fayette Veterinary Hospital in Washington Court House, Ohio is a community centered, 90% small animal practice that has a mission to enhance the experience of love our pets provide us by maximizing their health and well being through preventative medicine and the early detection of disease. This is achieved by educating our clients, striving to work within our client constraints, and focusing on providing outstanding, empathetic client and patient care.

We are a privately owned veterinary practice that is 90% small animal. We offer 30+ years of experience with supportive mentorship from our veterinarians.

Company History

Established in 1953, Fayette Veterinary Hospital has a long history of serving our small community and surrounding areas. Dr. D.R. Junk began the practice in his home on Broadway. In 1959 he purchased the property on Columbus Avenue and began practicing out of a garage next to his house. In 1975 D.R's son, Gary Junk graduated fromThe Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and began practicing with his father. In 1979 they expanded the practice with a grand re-opening. Dr. Daryl Waits joined the practice in 1998 after graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Waits became a partner in 2003. Dr. Gary Junk passed away in 2018 and is sadly missed. Dr. Alexa Beck joined the practice in 2019 after she graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. In May 2025 we completed the construction of our new 10,000 sq. ft. facility.
