We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about animal care, eager to learn, and motivated to support veterinarians and technicians in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and teammates during examinations and procedures
• Safely restrain dogs and cats for exams, treatments, and diagnostics
• Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain hospital equipment and workspaces
• Support basic laboratory procedures (sample collection, preparation, and processing)
• Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes to the medical team
• Provide compassionate care to patients and excellent service to clients
• Assist with feeding, walking, and maintaining patient comfort

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in an animal care role preferred
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
