We are hiring an overnight EMERGENCY veterinarian in Cookeville, TN.Copeland Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted pillar of veterinary care in the Upper Cumberland region for over 50 years. What we offer at our practice:
- A suite of veterinary services: surgery, dental, preventative, wellness, dermatology, laser therapy, advanced diagnostics, oncology, platelet plasma therapy, emergency, and critical care
- Veterinarian team experienced in advanced diagnostics and soft tissue surgery.
- Equipment: digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, surgical suite, and CT coming soon
- Highly trained staff of veterinary technicians, who have over 30 years of combined experience
- A cohesive group of veterinary experts that values teamwork and client experience.
- Purpose-built veterinary training and mentorship programs
Our ideal candidate:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree / VMD or equivalent
- An active veterinary license in the state of TN is preferred, but not required, we will cover state licensure transfer fees
- Emergency (ER), Urgent Care and/or surgical skills are preferred
- An outgoing, client-focused, compassionate emergency veterinarian who loves collaborating within a team environment
- Schedule: typically 3-4 shifts per week, rotating to include nights.
- Willingness to continually improve oneself and work with a team dedicated to the betterment of the practice
Benefits:
- $120k -$160k base salary with production (negotiable), earning potential of $200k+ (depending on experience and schedule)
- Up to $50k sign-on bonus
