Emergency Veterinarian – Aroostook Animal Emergency Services
Location: Aroostook County, Maine
Schedule: Rotating Shifts | Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities
Aroostook County is about to welcome its first-ever small animal emergency hospital — and we’re looking for passionate veterinarians to join us at Aroostook Animal Emergency Services as we launch this exciting new facility!
About the Role:
We are seeking at least two experienced emergency small animal veterinarians to help us build and grow our hospital. Ideal candidates will be comfortable handling both surgical and critical care cases, including:

Surgical procedures: GDV, splenectomy, foreign body removal

Critical care: Addisonian crisis, toxin ingestion, DKA

Bonus skills: basic fracture repair, endoscopy, pocket pets/exotics
Shift Options:

4:00 PM – Midnight
-
Midnight – 8:00 AM
-
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
(Initial coverage: Thursday PM through Monday AM)
No full overnight shifts required!
